Chrysler and Nissan are canceling their 2008 deals to build vehicles for each other, the automakers announced Wednesday afternoon. Chrysler was to provide Nissan with a full-sized truck, based on the Dodge Ram, starting in 2011. It would have been a replacement for the Nissan Titan.
The 2012 Land Rover Defender Special Edition will join the growing list of cool cars that aren't coming stateside. At least we aren't getting our hopes up—not only did they snub the Detroit auto show, but Land Rover hasn't brought a Defender SUV here since 1997. Red Bull brought a newly upgraded car to Silverstone, and boy, did it show. They dominated the weekend and achieved a 1-2 finish, with Vettel cruising from start to finish in an astonishing display. Webber got stuck behind Barrichello in the Brawn off the line, allowing Vettel to storm away.
